The 2016 Great Yorkshire Show takes place at Harrogate Showground Tuesday 12th – Thursday 14th July, and we would love to see you there. We will have a stand in the brand new Cheese & Dairy Hall, sampling our range of award-winning handcrafted cheeses and Yorkshire Yogurt, with products available to purchase too. This year, the Dales Festival of Food & Drink is moving back to Leyburn Market Place, and is a free to attend event. Showcasing the best of food and drink from the local area, there is a full schedule of demonstrations, activities and performances from local bands too. The festival takes place 18th and 19th June, and we are delighted to be headline sponsors. The Wensleydale Creamery is joining a major UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) Northern Powerhouse trade mission to the Gulfood and Halal World show in Dubai to increase its export business in key Middle East markets. Our Export team returned to Wensleydale last week from San Francisco, after attending the annual Winter Fancy Food show; “the largest specialty food trade event on the West Coast of America and a showcase of industry innovation”. It’s been a very exciting few days for us here at The Wensleydale Creamery; Thursday 26th November saw the prestigious World Cheese Awards, organised by The Guild of Fine Food, and held at the BBC Good Food Show.
