The Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience starts with a cheesemaking demonstration and continues as a self-guided tour where you will learn about the thousand-year history of artisan cheesemaking in the Dales.

Watch as our experienced and knowledgeable cheese experts carefully craft Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese by hand, with a detailed explanation of the process and butter making too!
Our cheesemaking demonstrations run every day at:
10.30am* | 12pm | 2pm | 3.30pm*
*10.30am and 3.30pm demonstrations are not bookable online, please book at the Cheese Experience reception desk upon arrival

Available with each ticket purchased for the Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience, the Loyalty Card entitles you to 12 months of free entry.

A Taste of Yorkshire
As part of the Cheese Experience, enjoy a guided cheese tasting! You not only have the opportunity to taste our range, you’ll also be able to learn more about how it’s made, what gives each cheese its unique flavour and texture, and pick up top tips on accompaniments that pair perfectly with them.
