Creamery Supports Hawes Christmas Lights

The Wensleydale Creamery announced today its pledge of funds from carrier bag charges at its Visitor Centre in Hawes, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, to the local Christmas light fund. The market town of Hawes is a hot spot for tourism, full of thriving independent businesses, shops, pubs and tourist attractions. The Wensleydale Creamery, based in Hawes (17 miles up the Dale from Leyburn), is this year’s headline sponsor of the new-look Dales Festival of Food & Drink, and is bringing its range of delicious handcrafted cheeses along to the festival. Name The Wensleydale Creamery’s New Cheese

The Wensleydale Creamery, main sponsor of the Dales Festival of Food & Drink, is inviting visitors to the Dales Festival of Food & Drink to come along and name its new cheese, which it will be launching at the festival. Dales Festival of Food & Drink

This year, the Dales Festival of Food & Drink is moving back to Leyburn Market Place, and is a free to attend event. Showcasing the best of food and drink from the local area, there is a full schedule of demonstrations, activities and performances from local bands too.
