Spring has officially sprung at our Visitor Centre with more opportunities to watch our cheese making demonstrations and a host of Easter activities too!

Spring Opening Times from Saturday 1st April to Sunday 29th October 2023

Cheese & Gift Shop: 9am – 5pm

1897 Coffee Shop: 9am – 4:30pm

Calvert’s Restaurant: Reopening soon!

Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience: 10am – 4pm

From Sunday 2nd April our daily cheese making demonstrations will be available to watch six times each day in the Visitor Experience, with the first taking place at 10.15am and the final one at 3.30pm.  Learn about the fascinating history of cheesemaking here in the Dales, and find out what makes our world famous creamy, crumbly Yorkshire Wensleydale so special, before heading to the Taste of Yorkshire Tasting Room to try it for yourself!

10.15am, 12.15pm, 1.00pm, 1.45pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm every day
