We’re delighted to announce our brand new Spring menu and Sunday Lunch menu at our award-winning Calvert’s Restaurant, inspired by our handcrafted artisan cheese.

Choose from a whole host of delicious dishes, including pan fried sea bass served with new potatoes crushed with Yorkshire Wensleydale & Apricots cheese, butternut squash risotto with Oak Smoked Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese, and chicken and Double Yorkshire Cheese fritters, served with roasted tomato and a rocket salad. 

You can also treat yourself to a range of delicious desserts, from Yorkshire Wensleydale & Ginger Cheese Cheesecake to Rhubarb Crumble served with home-made custard.

For those looking to try a bit of everything, the Wensleydale Cheeseboard offers a selection of our favourite artisan cheeses, which have been lovingly handcrafted by expert cheesemakers using traditional methods and time-honoured recipes using milk from local farms.

Our Sunday lunch menu features all of the delicious dishes from the Spring menu, with the added addition of a traditional Sunday roast, served with roast and mashed potatoes, honey roasted carrots and parsnips, braised cabbage, cauliflower with a special Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese sauce, home-made Yorkshire puddings, and gravy.

“It’s been a pleasure to create some exciting new dishes and we hope to give our visitors a truly memorable food experience at our restaurant, which boasts a stunning panoramic view of the rolling Yorkshire Dales.”
