Leeds-based PR, sponsorship, social and events agency, Hatch Communications, has been appointed by The Wensleydale Creamery to manage both its consumer and trade PR as well as maximise its new sponsorship deal with Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
The Creamery has tasked Hatch with handling ongoing press office activity on a regional and national level, across both consumer, tourism and grocery markets.
The Dales cheesemaker will also work with Hatch to maximise its new Official Partner status with Yorkshire County Cricket Club. The team will work to activate a sponsorship maximisation plan that will see Yorkshire’s finest cheese aligned with Yorkshire’s finest cricket club, players and fans.
Hatch’s appointment comes as part of a major marketing and PR drive by The Wensleydale Creamery, to position the Yorkshire cheesemaker as a key player in the dairy industry, as well as cement the company’s nostalgia and provenance.
