Friends of the Creamery: Rosebud Preserves

With a passion for sourcing locally and using fresh, seasonal produce, Rosebud Preserves are based in the nearby market town of Masham.

Their award-winning range of jams, jellies, preserves and pickles are made to time honoured recipes using traditional techniques (much like ourselves!) and over the years their range, which is now stocked in high end retailers throughout the country as well as being exported to America and Canada, has continued to grow.

We’ve worked closely with their passionate team over recent years to create a number of preserves and chutneys, all designed to pair perfectly with our range of cheese. Have you tried the Yorkshire Wensleydale Chutney with its fresh, delicate and naturally sweet balance of Bramley apples, sultanas and traditional spices? It’s delicious with our Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese!  Or what about the Red Onion Chutney with Port, a full bodied preserve with rich caramelised red onions and a splash of vintage port, making it a great match for both our Wensleydale Blue and Kit Calvert Old-Style Wensleydale.

More recently we’ve teamed up to create our new gift sets.  Perfect for the food lover in your life, they include one of our waxed cheese truckles along with a jar of perfectly paired preserve.
