A creamy blue cheese with a delicate mellow, yet full flavour. Enjoy with oatcakes and red onion marmalade, crisp grapes and slices of pear. A fine port, Malbec or Merlot pairs perfectly with Wensleydale Blue.
Our award-winning Wensleydale Blue is handcrafted at the Wensleydale Creamery, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales to a traditional recipe using milk from local farms.
Wensleydale Blue is steeped in heritage & provenance; it represents the original, matured Wensleydale cheese that was made throughout Wensleydale by the Cistercian monks when they first settled in the dale in 1150. Due to the conditions under which it was made and stored, the cheese would have naturally ‘blued’.

What else did you enjoy with this product and how did you use it? - Sauerkraut goes with most things but it's made for blue cheese. You have to make it yourself, not the shop rubbish.

Arrived well packaged and quickly.
The blue cheese is amazing, not too strong, lovely and creamy. Three of these for around £20 is worth every penny. I'm going to avoid the weighing scales for a few weeks.
