What else did you enjoy with this product and how did you use it? - It goes well with chutney - especially the Wensleydale Chutney sold here. And on the walnut,
Honey and extra virgin olive oil crackers, yum!! I love it grilled on toast with Worcestershire sauce sprinkled on. It tastes beautiful in a cheese sauce, homemade with a roux paste of flour and butter - ideally the Yorkshire Butter sold by Wensleydale Creamery of course! - and milk. Perfect with pan fried salmon, or the classic cauliflower and broccoli gratin.
Would you recommend this product? - Yes
This is without doubt the best smoked cheese I’ve ever tried. It’s perfect for either eating at room temperature with crackers, or cooking with. It has a velvety texture, and the smokiness is perfectly balanced for my palate: smoky enough to know it’s there but without tasting only of smoke. Perfection!

What else did you enjoy with this product and how did you use it? - In sandwich, on toast, grated on jacket potatoes, grated over mashed potatoes shepherds pie and just eaten on its own.
Would you recommend this product? - Yes
This is the first time I have ordered as I couldn’t find any oak smoked cheddar in the local shops. Wensleydale was recommended to me as making excellent cheeses. No only do all my family love this cheese I gave some to my cheese loving neighbour and they are going to buy some too. Fantastic taste and quality highly recommended.
