Kit Calvert Old-Style Wensleydale cheese, named in celebration and honour of Kit Calvert MBE, the legendary Yorkshire businessman, who helped save the Wensleydale Creamery from closure in the 1930s. It is a lovingly handcrafted old-style Wensleydale cheese with a buttery, and especially creamy texture. Please note that this cheese has 10 days life from the day it is cut.

What else did you enjoy with this product and how did you use it? - Much less crumbly than ordinary Wensleydale we normally have with biscuits but goes well with apples and apple pie

More solid with a firmer texture this is a lovely mild cheese

Having spent the first 20 years of my life living in Swaledale, tasting Kit Calvert Old-style Wensleydale cheese brought back very happy memories of Christmas at home. We always had "Mr Calvert's" with my mum's amazing Christmas cake.
