WENSLEYDALE CREAMERY LAUNCHES YORKSHIRE BUTTER
Real butter fans can now enjoy a taste of Yorkshire, as Yorkshire Butter hits our shelves this week.
The Wensleydale Creamery, based at Hawes in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, has added Yorkshire Butter to its award-winning line up. The famous dairy producer and maker of Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese (PGI) has announced that its popular Dales Butter will relaunch under the Yorkshire Butter brand name.
Traditionally churned from fresh Yorkshire cream, the rich and creamy butter is available now from Asda, Booths, Tesco, Waitrose, independent retailers and The Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre.
David Hartley, Managing Director of The Wensleydale Creamery, explains: “We’re pleased to be relaunching our much-loved Dales Butter under the Yorkshire Butter brand name. Yorkshire is widely recognised for its quality food and drink and is fast gaining national, and international, appeal. With many shopper’s desire and demand for more natural fats, resulting in the growth of butter sales across the UK, we are delighted to be bringing consumers a butter with a true taste of Yorkshire.”
