1. WENSLEYDALE DAIRY PRODUCTS LIMITED TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions explain your rights and obligations. Please read them carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms and Conditions do not affect these except if the two are inconsistent. If this is the case then these Terms and Conditions will override any other rights which you may have, unless this is not permitted by law. You are deemed to have read and accepted the Access Agreement and its provisions are in addition to these Terms & Conditions.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

3.1 To purchase from us you must be over 18.

3.2 By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods at the price set out in the order and allowing us to use your personal details (including passing your details on to couriers and other subcontractors). You may ask that your details be removed from our system by writing to the address above - there is more about what we do with customer data in the Access Agreement on our site.

3.3 We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed that we have both accepted your order and that it has been shipped. No contract will exist until we have dispatched the goods.

3.4 You do not own the goods until we receive payment in full in pounds sterling.

3.5 If you discover you have made a mistake with your order please contact creamery@wensleydale.co.uk immediately. Please do this before we confirm your order. We are unable to rectify mistakes after this time.

3.6 Prices are checked regularly. However, if we find the price has changed when we receive your order we will contact you and ask if you wish to proceed. If you confirm that you do wish to proceed then please remember that we will still not be under an obligation to supply the goods until we have confirmed that we both have accepted your order and that it has been shipped. No contract will exist until we have confirmed this.

3.7 Certain food items may be prohibited in a country to which they may be sent. It is your responsibility to check with the appropriate authorities to ensure the goods ordered are not prohibited.
Shipping And Handling We aim to deliver goods to you within the time indicated by us in our acceptance but we cannot give an exact delivery date. We also may deliver the goods in several consignments but will not charge any extra delivery for this. The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply as the goods sold are perishable, however, if we have not delivered the goods within 30 days of the date given in our acceptance then you may cancel the contract and we will refund any money paid by you.

Certain food items may be prohibited in a country to which they may be sent. It is your responsibility to check with the appropriate authorities to ensure the goods ordered are not prohibited.

You should inspect the goods when you receive them for damage. If you find any damage you must tell us as within 24 hours of receipt of the goods. On receipt of the returned goods we can elect to refund the purchase price or provide replacement goods at no cost to you.

If we elect to provide replacement goods we will be deemed to have complied with our obligations under the contract and no claim can arise out of your rejection of the original goods.
Delivery Schedule We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 2 to 10 business days . International orders are generally received in under 28 days.

1st Class to UK destinations are delivered the day after collection.

All delivery days are counted from day of collection - not from the date of your order.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, most of our food products are VAT Free. However some items may be subject to VAT @ 15% VAT and this is added to the total. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy Wensleydale Dairy Products Limited do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Remittance Terms 6.3 All payments must be made at the time of placing the order by credit card. We accept most major credit cards. If we are unable to accept your order then we shall, at our option, either not debit your credit card or refund any money paid by you.
